Recognition from Cafepress.

A few weeks ago we were contacted by Cafepress and asked if we would allow them to list us on their Developers Network site. They were very complimentary of our site and we were of course delighted to be included among some really great tools. You can find the link to cpDesignRank as well as several other helpful tools at cafepressdn.com. All of these tools (including cpDesignRank) use the Cafepress API, so you can be sure they are safe and secure to use. Take full advantage of these tools, they were created for all users to gain exposure and grow success with their Cafepress shop(s). New feature added - Choose which designs to show.

You can now choose which designs to show and which to hide. Up until now all of your designs, when uploaded, are by default visible for anyone to rank. Now you can login to your account and choose to hide specific designs you do not want the public to see. Simply visit the login page and click the "Do Not Display" check box above the design(s) you wish to hide. You can always come back and choose to show any of your hidden designs if you change your mind. The default is still to show all of your designs; you must choose which designs to hide. Uploading new designs will NOT affect the display status of your current designs. Posted by Matt @ 7:10pm

New feature added - Rank designs using the number keys.

We've added a new feature to CP DesignRank that allows you to rank designs by using the number keys 1 - 0. 1 gives the lowest rating (1) and 0 gives the highest rating (10). This feature should allow you to rank designs much more quickly and efficiently providing a more enjoyable and more productive ranking experience. Posted by Matt @ 1:07pm

Pleasantly surprised.

We've been seeing some pretty cool designs coming across the screen while ranking, a lot of different styles are represented so far. Some of the designs are funny and I could easily see them hanging on a rack at the local mall novelty store while others are absolute art and you can see the painstaking detail and the amount of time it must have taken to create such pieces. We're also beginning to see some designs picking up some pretty good rankings even though the over all number of voters is still fairly low. It's going to get interesting, so keep the submissions coming and get busy ranking! Posted by Matt @ 9:01pm

CP Design Rank is Officially Live!

Here it is...we've officially launched (under the obligatory beta) CP Design Rank.com! Our intention is to create a community where cafepress shop owners can upload their designs and then have them ranked by other shop owners, as well as the general public. This will allow designers to see what constitutes a good design (or at least what the majority consensus is) and get a better understanding of how to create marketable products. We see this site becoming a very useful tool for both new and experienced shop owners. Initially the site is pretty straight forward, upload your designs and begin ranking others. However we have several tools and features we intend to roll out in the near future which will help you to customize your shop, gain exposure, and generate more sales. Stay tuned! In the mean time we encourage you to submit your designs, spread the word, and start ranking!! We encourage everyone to e-mail us with any problems or suggestions you have, again we are in the beta phase and we need your help testing the site and assuring the system will work to its fullest potential.
